Spring is for the community lacrosse season! All players (beginner to advanced) play in spring for their community teams, and eventually their high school teams. Those looking to take their game to the next level should explore Club travel options that run tournament seasons in summer and fall as well as winter training. (See Club Lacrosse tab)

The Southside Storm Youth Lacrosse Organization is a 100% Nonprofit organization 501(c)(3) focused on making community lacrosse available in the Orland Park, Tinley Park, Homer Glen, Palos, Oak Forest, Oak Lawn, Chicago and Lockport areas for Kindergarten through 8th grade.  We are coaches, parents and children who love Lacrosse, brought together for the love of the game and a desire to provide a professionally trained, non-profit alternative for Lacrosse in the Southwest suburbs of Chicago. The Southside Storm Lacrosse will focus on teaching fundamental techniques and strategies of the game and sharing the love of the fastest growing sport in America. 

•Providing an opportunity for kids to be active, fit and healthy.

•Removing economic barriers that make it difficult for all children to participate in youth sports.

•Creating an atmosphere that brings our youth closer together through common interest in sportsmanship and competition.

•Teaching sportsmanship, teamwork and accountability; building character, discipline and love of the sport.

•Encouraging the players to have respect for the game, others, and themselves.

•Providing positive coaching that continues to build the skill and self-esteem of each player.
